  • Our students have access to the School for Research into Cognition, Activity and Social Development of Children and Adolescents with Developmental Delays. The academic staff of the school is comprised of managers and employees of various institutions and organisations in this area.
  • The programme has access to classes with all required equipment, internet access and access to the Herzen University research library.

    Career Opportunities

    Our graduates provide psychological support for special education programmes and support individual students with special needs. They also conduct research and develop methodology required for such programmes.

    You will be able to work as a special needs teacher at:
    • institutions focusing on special needs students;
    • regular educational institutions, supporting special needs students in inclusive education programmes;
    • rehabilitation centres;
    • other educational, psychological, welfare and social institutions, working in rehabilitation for individuals with disabilities.
