Students of the Institute of Music, Theater and Choreography of Herzen University became awardees of the International Instrumental Music Competition Jan Sibelius (JSFest competition)

The competition was held on November 15 to 18, 2019, in the city of Turku (Finland).
The organizer of the event is the Turku International Cultural Association (Turun kansainväliset kulttuurimarkkinat yhdistys ry) in cooperation with the Finnish company SEM Consulting Oy and the Russian Composers Union.
The awardees of the competition are:
• Tatyana Kozyar (2 year undergraduate, class of professor I.P. Podolskaya) - GRAND PRIX•
• Kristina Nasnikova (2 year undergraduate, class of associate professor E. E. Roshchina) - 1st place
• Konstantin Slovak (3 year undergraduate, class of lecturer A.V. Maistrenko) - 2 place
• Nadezhda Berezina (1 year of master's degree, class of lecturer L. A. Konovalova) - 2 place
• Alyona Abramova (1 year of master's degree, class of lecturer T. E. Gurbaeva) - 3 place
