Rector of the Herzen University Sergey Bogdanov took part in the international rector’s forum organized by the Jiangxi Normal University (Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, China) Herzen University’s partner institution since 2015

The formal title of the forum was called “New Era, New Changes, New Education: Challenges and Strategies of Pedagogical Universities”; it was organized in celebration of the 80th anniversary of the establishment of Jiangxi Normal University.
The university leaders from different countries have sent their compliments to their Jiangxi colleagues, yet the main goal of the event was to share views on the development of university education in today’s environment. Sergey Bognanov has told about new steps for improvement of pedagogical education and more specifically about the Herzen University’s recent project of training a whole team of teachers for a school in the neighboring region of Leningradskaya oblast.
Concluding his speech Sergey Bogdanov has particularly noted:

“I believe that the key point today is our mutual interest and focus on developing friendly and partnership relations. Gradually overcoming the difficulties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, together we will be able to transfer all the “best practices” developed at our regional and national level to the level of international cooperation”.
