The programme aims to:
prepare professionals with in-depth knowledge in the history of ancient philosophy and schooling. Graduates are well-placed to conduct research and teaching in the history of classical tradition as the foundation for post-classical and neoclassical strategies of European culture;
make students aware of the realia of ancient culture, i.e., classical languages (Ancient Greek, Latin) and history.
