Over the course of their history, philosophy and education have been close-knit.
The programme aims to:
  • prepare professionals with in-depth knowledge in the history of ancient philosophy and schooling. Graduates are well-placed to conduct research and teaching in the history of classical tradition as the foundation for post-classical and neoclassical strategies of European culture;
  • make students aware of the realia of ancient culture, i.e., classical languages (Ancient Greek, Latin) and history.
