The programme is aimed at training professional foreign language teachers who will land jobs in vocational and university-level education
The programme provides for a significant improvement of students’ foreign language fluency
Students learn about the most recent developments in linguistics, which will help them hone their language skills and improve their teacher expertise
Students master a variety of language teaching techniques and methods in order to be prepared for effective teaching work
Students will be able to:
improve their language proficiency (including writing and speaking) under the supervision of both Russian instructors and native speakers of the studied languages
acquire a better and deeper theoretical understanding of the studied languages
learn how to combine theory and practice in order to carry out linguistics research
learn about the existing methods and techniques of foreign language teaching and design their own practical approach
apply, upon completion, to a PhD programme (Romance Languages or Germanic Languages)
